The Toyama JAS is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the Society is sending a goodwill team to visit us in September.

Show our guests a real at-home Sydney welcome and help to get their visit off to a flying start by sharing a meal with them at the home of AJS members Maureen and Leigh McClintock.

Nestled between the Northern Alps and the Sea of Japan, Toyama enjoys spectacular scenery, excellent seafood and consistently high ratings as one of Japan’s most liveable prefectures.  Relative isolation has meant it is not very well known to most Australians, but the Shinkansen is coming, which will change everything.

The goodwill team will be led by the Society’s President; there will be 15 members in all.  They will visit Cowra and Wellington (NSW) as well as Sydney.  Toyama City and Wellington have a sister city relationship.

This function is for AJS Members, and partners are also welcome. Because it will be held at a private home, numbers are limited, so please register quickly. Exact location details will be available once you register.
