The Cowra Sakura Matsuri 2022 will be held 24-25 September, and you’re invited!
The Sakura Matsuri will be held this year after a two-year pandemic hiatus. Let the promise of spring blossoms and the inspiring and powerful beat of the taiko drums draw you to Cowra! The festival is organized by the Cowra Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre; the Garden forms part of the Cowra Peace Precinct, an historic area managed by Cowra Shire.
Some AJS members have planned to go so please let us know if you will also be there, by email. Prompt decision is recommended however since accommodation that weekend is tight in Cowra!
For AJS, the festival and associated events at the Cowra Japanese Garden & Cultural Centre will include:
Saturday 24 September - Sakura Matsuri
