Watch two of Australia's best baseball teams (one with Japanese players from Hanshin) fight it out in the Australian Baseball League series.

Our last social event of the year is a trip to enjoy a baseball game: The Sydney Blue Sox vs Canberra Cavalry at Blacktown International Sportspark.

Canberra Cavalry is currently hosting three Japanese players from the Hanshin Tigers: left handed pitcher Masanori Fujihara, right handed pitcher Hirokazu Shiranita, and outfielder Koei Shibata.
Every year a number of Japanese players come to Australia to join the ABL series.

We will have use of a function room above the third base dugout with catering (roasts and salads) included in the price. There will be a cash bar.

The Blacktown Ballpark is 40 minutes from central Sydney, close to the M4 Expressway. For those without own transport we will try to arrange lifts, or a shuttle bus runs from the nearest train station (Rooty Hill on Western line).

Sign up and pay online, or download the form here. We do need confirmation of numbers by November 30.
