Australia-Japan Society of NSW
The Award is awarded annually to encourage research by researchers of Japanese Literature in Australia and NZ. It was established in 2006 (Australia-Japan Year of Exchange) at the University of Sydney by the Inoue Yasushi Memorial Foundation/Inoue Family and Masanori Ohtani of Sydney.
Certificates and Prizes will be awarded to the winners chosen by the Selection Committee of The University of Sydney.
A cultural program with music and readings will follow.

The Australia-Japan Society of NSW Incorporated (AJS-NSW) aims to bring together Australian and Japanese people living in NSW to explore mutual interests.
AJS-NSW holds regular business, social and cultural functions, and publishes a quarterly newsletter, Tomodachi.
